Our Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Clinical Social Workers can assess clients of any age for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) through a simple clinical interview that relies on diagnostic criteria identified by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5). Once a diagnosis is made our clinicians work to reduce feelings of helpless generated by negative patterns of thinking and behaving. Through the teaching of effective coping skills optimism is fostered, motivation is increased, and confidence is restored.
